Narrowing the text

Hi,
I'd like to narrow the content/text on each page so that it's not full screen. Could you please tell me how to do this?

If you want to make it narrower then a layout element should help:

No not yet. Although I can see now that it's not full width - but wider than I'd like.
I'd like to narrow the content globably across the whole site.
Then my layout element suggestion in the previous reply should work :)
