Name and date - articles

Hello,
I am trying to make the date and name disappear from my article page. So, when I post an article, I see there date and name. If I go to Customize-layout-blog and uncheck the Display post date box and display post author date, then the date and name disappear only from the blog posts page, but not from the article page.
What can I do?
