I’ve discovered a new weird issue. A clickable list to ALL of my WordPress pages is found at the top of my Reviews and Blog post pages. So, when people go to those pages (see my Blog example here): https://natureglosescience.com/nes-blog/ They see this huge annoying list of my WordPress pages. They have to scroll down beneath the list to see my blog posts or reviews! I don’t know how this could have happened.
July 21, 2020 at 11:58 am #1371235LeoStaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Have you tried the suggestion here?
https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/primary-menu-wont-save-changes-within-active-generate-press-child-them/#post-1371183July 21, 2020 at 12:05 pm #1371248GloriaI did read through it. I will look further into implementing it. Thank you.
July 21, 2020 at 12:06 pm #1371249GloriaHave you seen this issue before? Can you explain what it is and why I need to recreate a menu?
July 21, 2020 at 12:28 pm #1371269LeoStaffCustomer SupportNot sure what you meant by recreate the menu.
Have you create a new menu before with the desired items:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-wordpress-menu-builder/#create-a%C2%A0new-menuThen assign it to the primary menu?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-wordpress-menu-builder/#setting-a-theme-locationJuly 21, 2020 at 1:06 pm #1371326GloriaYes, I have created a menu using those steps in the past. That’s how I have a menu. I thought you were suggesting I create a new one. So, yeah, I’m confused. I’ve showed you the issue I’m having on my blog page here (at the top you’ll see the weird menu): https://natureglosescience.com/nes-blog/
As well as it’s found at the top of my Reviews page here: https://natureglosescience.com/nes-online-course-reviews/
Additionally, if I try to create a new page within WP, the new page gets the weird menu.
I’m curious what could of caused it and if my deactivating my GP child theme that a developer created years ago and instead install the Generate Press Pro AND regular plugins would alleviate this issue. I have backups with my host. If I change the child theme to the regular theme will things look weird and different? Will I need to do new customizations say with my brand colors and font for my site?
July 21, 2020 at 1:17 pm #1371334LeoStaffCustomer SupportHmm sounds like you were still having the same/similar issue as before.
Can you disable all plugins except GP Premium?
I also noticed that when I click the menu item Home, it goes to a site that’s not using GP.
July 21, 2020 at 1:59 pm #1371374GloriaWhat do I do after I disable all the plugins? Can I just give you admin access? I set it up already for you guys. I’m short on time as I’m trying to ready my site as a solopreneur for a big relaunch BY mid-August. I’m trying to make that deadline, but, this issue (among a few others) is stalling me out right now.
July 21, 2020 at 2:01 pm #1371375GloriaI fixed my subdomain’s HOME page going elsewhere. I THINK that’s what you meant. I have my main domain, natureglosescience.com, and a subdomain (where I don’t see the weir menu issue at the tops of any pages), membership.natureglosescience.com

Let me know if the issue still exists after that’s done.
We cannot make changes to your site for you unfortunately.
Weird issues like this take a bit of debugging steps sometimes.
July 21, 2020 at 2:18 pm #1371390GloriaI also notice that pages wherein I’ve built with Thrive Architect, DO NOT have the strange WP “all my pages” menu at the top. I’m considering creating my blog and reviews using Thrive Architect. Since I use mostly Thrive Theme plugins, it might make the best sense for me to go with their theme instead. I know that means I’d probably be walking away from GP but, I gotta do what I gotta do to get things running again as a non-developer solopreneur that doesn’t have a lot of time or money for now.
July 21, 2020 at 2:24 pm #1371393LeoStaffCustomer SupportSounds good. We are happy to provide a refund if you’d like to go with that route.
Just send us an e-mail through Account Issues here:
https://generatepress.com/contact/July 21, 2020 at 2:31 pm #1371398GloriaThanks. I appreciate knowing that. So, it appears you have no further thoughts other than my deactivating all of my plugins.
What more would you say I’m to do once I deleted the plugins save for the GP child theme?
1. I’m guessing after the plugins are deactivated I would go and see if the issue is still there.
2. Then reactivate each plugin one at a time?July 21, 2020 at 2:35 pm #1371405LeoStaffCustomer SupportWhat more would you say I’m to do once I deleted the plugins save for the GP child theme?
Not quite sure if I understand but could we stick with one issue at the time? Or you can open a separate topic for this.

2. Then reactivate each plugin one at a time?Yes exactly 🙂
July 21, 2020 at 3:39 pm #1371443GloriaOkay, yes, that’s what I wanted to know. From my understanding, my asking that is still part of the same issue. As I reactivate each plugin, from my understanding, I would refres one of the affected pages, with the annoying menu at the top, to figure out which plugin is creating the weird clickable menu at the top. Correct me, please, if I’m missing anything.
