[Support request] Mystery Element text-shawdow

Hello – I’ve been racking my brain to figure out where the header is getting the text drop shadow from. The website is based on one of the site libraries.

It’s a hero block and even if I delete the header and add it back it persists. I see the CSS file which I assume is generated in the uploads/generateblocks folder but I don’t see for the life of me where the style is coming form. I check the customizer AND there’s nothing in the block for the header in the element. I guess I could rebuild the header but I’m stubborn.

I also could just override it in CSS.

Hi Brad,

Do you have GB Pro? If so, can you check if the specific Headline Block with the shadow has a Global Style enabled for it?

You can also go to GenerateBlocks > Global Styles to check.

If there isn’t, check if you have an Effect set in the Block settings: https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/headline-overview/#effects-pro-feature
