    Hi there,

The most common advice given by all testing sites are usually these things:

    1. Check the validity of your HTML code
    2. Eliminate the unnecessary code
    3. Eliminate any huge white spaces
    4. Avoid excessive tabs
    5. Eliminate any comments in the code
    6. Avoid using tables, only use if necessary
    7. For formatting and styling, use CSS
    8. Get rid of any unnecessary use of images
    9. JavaScript and Flash must only be used if necessary
    10. Keep the image size below 300kb
    11. Eliminate any invisible or hidden text
    12. Use plain text which should be easily readable and of high quality

This is quite tedious to do as you may have to check everything manually as the issue is caused by multiple things.

Most things are likely outside of the theme’s control. It can be from a content you’ve added or plugins that add too many things.

    Hello!

I have also this is issie on my sites. For example: https://dnevnichok.club/

    About this issue

Your text to HTML ratio indicates the amount of actual text you have on your webpage compared to the amount of code. This issue is triggered when your text to HTML is 10% or less.
Search engines have begun focusing on pages that contain more content. That’s why a higher text to HTML ratio means your page has a better chance of getting a good position in search results.
Less code increases your page’s load speed and also helps your rankings. It also helps search engine robots crawl your website faster.

    How to fix it

Split your webpage’s text content and code into separate files and compare their size. If the size of your code file exceeds the size of the text file, review your page’s HTML code and consider optimizing its structure and removing embedded scripts and styles.

Maybe you have some solution or can recomended some plugin for fixed this?

    Best Regards

    Hi Alena,

This isn’t a theme-related issue so not something we can fix.

If Elvin’s suggestion did not work for you, then I’d recommend Googling “fixing low text-HTML ratio” to see some recommendations.
