Hi Jim,
So the site preview photo on Facebook is displaying an old photo?
If so I'm don't think there is anything we can do from GP's end...
It's likely something to do with facebook cache. When did you try those solution? I think you might have to give it a bit to see the results.
I'll take a deeper look in a little bit once I'm at the computer :)
Leo I tried about 1 hour ago.
Tom Thank you well thank you both.
I'd give it more time. seem to remember having to use facebook debugger once and nothing worked like you said, but when I tried it again a day or two later it was working already.
Leo,
Thank you I will do so and let you know.
FYI Issue still not fixed
Hi Jim,
I assume this is the incorrect image?: https://www.screencast.com/t/ytR5f4qJ
Tom,
You are correct this image is not even in the media library! if you go to my Facebook page the header photo is the correct photo https://www.facebook.com/HostAtPowerRockPodcast/?pnref=lhc and the same photo is on the website https://powerrockpodcasts.com/
Thank you sir!
The image set in your source by Yoast SEO is still the old image: https://powerrockpodcasts.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/cropped-header-2016-updated-1.jpg
Try upload the new image in the Facebook image field here: https://www.screencast.com/t/B5BW6EDWwU
Tom,
I have done just what you said I even have 2 monitors and saved the screenshot on one so I was seeing what you sent went to Yoast SEO on the home page and the link did say it was Header 2016 I deleted the link uploaded the new image to the media library the link appears its correct BUT its still pulling the old image. I will give it some time and will be sure to let you know the outcome.
Thanks so much,
Jim
The code is now saying FB should use this image: https://powerrockpodcasts.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Power-Rock-Podcast-Header.jpg
