[Resolved] My Posts Page doesn’t open the Visual or Text option

When I click on “Add new post”, I get directed to the same place as if I were creating a regular WordPress Page.

I am not getting the page to create a Post which should include the Visual and Text mode, as well as the option to add media.

How does this get fixed?

Hi there,

This is actually not an issue – the posts page is automatically generated by WordPress by default.

It displays the list of single posts you’ve created and cannot be edited like a static page or single posts.

You would need to use a header element or hook element in order to add some more content:

The display rules would be Blog.
