My front page is not shown properly. Header image is not shown. Last wee it was ok. Is it something because of the upgrades? I even restored the couple of days earlier version from cpanel. Nothing has changed. How can I fix it?
    Many thanks.

I also close all the plugins and checked if any of them causing the issue. But nothing has changed. I cleared my cache and tried different computers, and both chrome and safari don’t show header image etc. Thanks.

    Hi David,
Thank you. I finally resolved the issue. My computer(s) need software update and I had to had a virus scan.
    Sorry for taking your time.

I have one final question that is out of the topic.
I am using a child theme. But do you suggest using generate premium original theme is better.

    Thanks,
    Hatice

    Hi Hatice,

It depends. A Child Theme is most often ONLY required if you intend to make edits to the theme template files. If you’re simply making changes via the Customizer and adding Content to your site then there is no need for a child theme.

This article may also be insightful: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-child-theme

If you also have a bunch of custom CSS, for instance over 600 or 700 lines of code, it may be better if you use a Child theme, and add all of that in the style.css
