Hi GP!
Could you please give me some suggestions about multilingual site?
I have two domain (say domain a and domain b) and want to build a two-language website.
I have two options. 1) using polylang or wpml to build the website, and make domain b as park domain. But I’m worried the plugin makes the site very slow.
2) as I’m using LIFETIME plan, so I can build two seperate wordpress, domain a for language a, and domain b for language b. The plugin will only be used to switch the domain. My hosting plan is also unlimited site, so more than one site is no problem.
Please help if all the 2 options are OK, and maybe which one is better? Thank you!

For option 1, WPML says that their plugin shouldn’t slow down a site. I’m not sure about Polylang. I would say test first with option 1. If it doesn’t slow down your site, then good.
Otherwise, try option 2.
We can’t tell exactly which is better. Only testing with https://pagespeed.web.dev/ with both options would give a definite answer.
