Mpeg file to Generate Press sections

I have tried uploading an Mpeg file (only 28mb) to generate press to play within a section.
I am getting this error.
'Unexpected response from the server. The file may have been uploaded successfully. Check in the Media Library or reload the page.'
I've reloaded the page, but this doesn't seem to solve the problem. Any ideas how this may be solved?
It was a plugin for security stopping it uploading.
