.mp4's Don't Appear on Tablets

This is a question I have asked before on this forum and also on the jsvideo forum but so far it has not been resolved. Trying again. ;-)

I have several websites that I've put short .mp4's on the home page using the plugin videojs-html5-video-player-for-wordpress.4.5.0 and GP Hooks.

All appears perfectly on my computer but the videos will not play on tablets or phones.

The code I am using in GP Hooks is [videojs mp4="my_uploads_URL.mp4" preload="auto" autoplay="true" loop="false" controls="false" height="360" width="960"]

A response from the videojs forum was in essence "with this code, how can the tablet or phone find the video?" I explained that I don't know and could they give me a better code but nobody responded.

Is there anyone who might know how I can make mp4's work on tablets and phones using GP Hooks?

Some of my websites with the problem are http://longfarms.ca/ http://awesomewebsites4u.com/ http://caribbeanholiday.ca/

Many thanks!
Mary

I found a solution. Instead of using videojs plugin I am using featured-video-plus plugin. It is working on iPads. Assume it will also work on phones.

Hi Mary,

Glad you found one that works! Thanks for pointing it out :)
