Moving theme from local to live

I'm almost done with customising the theme ready for deployment, what's the best way to do this? I'm assuming install generatepress to the live site, and restore the options from the backup of the local. Is there anything else I need to take into account to make this transition smooth?

Went smoothly, except I tried to import options before I activated the premium version.
