Moving Portfolio from Old Theme to GeneratePress

Hello,
I was wondering if there was a way to move portfolio posts I created in my old theme? These posts are still showing up in some of the pages where I used Elementor's portfolio widget (but clicking on them leads to a 404 error).

It depends on how they were created. They would have to be a custom post type which could be added into a plugin.
This is why things like portfolio items shouldn't be theme based unfortunately.
