Moving GP Theme and Setting

New to GP (purchased premium):
A client with a site in production wants a redo. Rather than work on a live site, I created a dev site and installed GP with child theme.
Can I design the new site in the dev area, then pick it all up and move it to the existing site, and just change the theme to GP? Does import/export do this? Are there tables involved?

Hi Mark,
If you're only wanting to move GP settings over, you can use the Import/Export add-on.
Other data (not from GP) would need to be manually moved over.
