Move sidebar above comments on mobile

After reading this thread, I was wondering is this still the case as of now? I really need to have the sidebar above the comments section for mobile! Can it be done with GPP 2.0 beta, maybe?

you would have to unhook the comments form and move it outside of the content container. Tom provides the snippet to do that here:
