Move post meta to the left of post

Hello, I'm using GPP & GBP and trying to replicate the blog layout on this site https://web.archive.org/web/20130923161441/http://www.strangenative.com/category/ideas/
I am wondering if it's possible to have the post meta displayed to the left of the post (archive & single) on desktop and landscape tablet view?
I'm currently just using native WP/GP post/archives, not the new query loop. Can it be done with the stock/native set up I am using or should I be using the query loop for this?

You can use a block element - content template to create a custom layout for your blog/archive.

The video in the above link demonstrates how to use a content template, it should help to understand the concept :)

Make sure you do NOT add query loop block into a block element - content template :)
Many users do that and wonder why the posts are repeating themselves.
