Move “Section” back from the sidebar
7 replies · Started by Oisin on January 2, 2021
While editing a page, I've somehow moved the 'sections' of my page over to the sidebar. (I pressed the upwards chevron on the top right of the master section and it moved itself to the sidebar.)
However now I cannot get it back form the sidebar to the main editing area.
Strangely it has effected all pages of my site when I try to edit them.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks.
Hi there,
try clicking the Up chevron on the Sections bar in the sidebar, move it up as far as it will go and it 'might' put it back where it belongs
No luck, I'm afraid.
It greys out when it gets to the top of the sidebar.
I noticed that issue before and unfortunately that seems to be a WordPress issue.
The only solution I found was to completely reset the page which probably doesn't work for you.
It's still workable, just a strange bug.
I'll know for again not to hit that chevron.
Cheers.
No problem :)
Hi just adding something here.
I disabled All in One SEO plugin, reinstalled it and then the UP chevron in the 'SECTION' sidebar became active again.
Once I clicked it, the sections reappeared in the main part of the editing window.
Something to keep in mind if this happens to anyone else.
Thanks for sharing!
