Move event organiser widget to elements

Hi,
I'm struggling to move the Event list widget (plugin Event organiser) from widget area to elements.
The widgets page says that (for the right side bar) this widget approach is deprecated.
How do I change from showing the widgets via the Widget area to showing them via Elements procedure?

Hi there,

Elements don't support Widgets.
Does the plugin provide another method of adding the Event List ? Eg, a Block or a Shortcode

Yes, the plugin supports several shortcodes.

Do you still need to display them in the sidebar ?
If so - is the issue related to the new Block Widgets .... you can disable them:
