[Resolved] Most Popular Posts Images Not Circles

Hello – Using the “info” theme and the thumbnails in the most popular posts shifted away from circles, they are now sort of oblong. I have changed anything on my site other than flipping on the blog module, which I switched off, but that doesn’t seem to fix the circles. I know the fix is to make sure thumbnails are set to 150×150, they are, and in the homepage page making sure size is set to thumbnail, it is.. any idea what the fix would be?

Hi there,

thats odd, as those images are being output as the 150px square thumbnail attachment, but those images are not cropped square. Hmmmm… to fix:

Edit that Query Loop and select the image block inside.
In the Image Blocks settings -> width and height set them both to 75px and then change the Object Fit to: Cover

Thanks, that worked. Had to do that fix in both places ( page and element) since it was doing same thing in sidebar off home page. But working in both spots now.

What about the homepage thumbnails in general.. any idea why I am not getting consistent sizing under like box office, and latest articles?

The Featured images for those posts are all different aspect ratios.
As you did with the popular posts you can edit those Query Loops, and select an smaller attachement size, and set width height for the aspect ratio you prefer, and set the Object fit to cover.
