Tom,
I'm have a problem using More Tags. Using WP 4.2.2, on a Mac, Latest Ver of GP and I have all the Add On's. When I have a page that I want to split because it's too long and place a More Tag ... say after the third paragraph.... there's no response. This seems to have occurred after upgrading to WOP-4.2.2.

Any thoughts on this would be helpful.
Regards, Sal

Hi Sal,

The more tag only works for blog posts.

To paginate your pages, add this tag in the "Text" editor where you want the break to happen:

<!--nextpage-->

Tom,
I think this is doing the trick. I even tried to place the "More" tag into the test field.... didn't work. The "Nextpage" tag does the job..... ONCE again thank you for your help....not only a fast reply, but very professional. I'm a fan!

Sal

Glad I could help! :)

It appears <!--nextpage--> only works on a Page.

How can I get this to work on a Post?

Thanks.

Hi there,

It should work on both, but it needs to be typed exactly like this:

<!--nextpage-->

I retyped the tag in (looks the same as before) and it worked. I have no idea what happened :/

WordPress is picky about it - it needs to be exactly like I typed above - no spaces, two dashes etc..

Glad it's working :)

I've been reading through the different solutions on this forum and I'm glad I stumbled upon this option. I used it immediately for a page that was too long compared to the rest of the pages on the site.
Thanks for the tip!

Glad it was helpful! :)
