[Resolved] More general question for everyone about paypal

Hi Tom/all,

Not really a theme question until I build it into the website I expect, but I was wondering if anyone has experience with donate buttons on their website. I was wondering if anyone will be able to see my business address if they donate money through such a button. I am releasing my books under a pseudonym, and I would not like to have my real address show up in the overview of payment if someone decides to donate a cup a coffee to me to keep me awake during the late nights.

Anyone has any experience with that?

I believe they will be able to see the address you have set up in PayPal – it’s a requirement (I think).

You may be better off asking PayPal directly 🙂

I tried now three times and they are not giving me a straight answer yet, it takes 24 hours to get a response every time, so maybe I will have my answer tomorrow 🙂

Was just wondering if other people had experience with it as well .

Hi Alexander. I have a donation button set up but, although you can customize the payment page, I don’t see an option to hide the address.
