yaaaaas! i added that first function and it updates the license! thank you so much. you guys rock.

the same hosting setup has two other sites and neither had updated to the new version, so i added the code you suggested. on one, the function also worked just fine and GP Premium updated. but the other gives me this error.
Update failed: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature
i don't see anything in the site health panel, but i've attached the details. i'll have to investigate cloudflare as i tried once to get it working on several sites, but i thought these three had it disabled.
Can you check with your hosting support to see if they are able to comment?
Please let them know that it works for one site with the same hosting.
If not please open a new topic for the separate question.
