hi there,

i'm learning to use the new typography system and was going to implement it on a site i manage that's throwing some google font related errors.

but on this site, when i go to the customizer, i'm not seeing the option to turn on the system that allows me to upload the font.

what should i do? on the last site you helped me with, i found i had to upload the fonts to elementor AND generatepress to get everything to work. any way to avoid that - other than not using elementor? ;)

thank you.

yes

Strange. The dynamic typography has been released for awhile but I haven't seen this issue before.

Any chance you can start a staging site and provide the dashboard access for us to do some debugging?

Thanks!

yes. i have a staging site for this one, lemme make sure it's updated and get back to you with a some credentials tomorrow.

I thought you said that they are both up to date in the previous reply?

We will be here :)

on the live site, which i've been screenshotting, everything is up to date. not sure the db's/plugins are all synced on the staging server, i'll double check and make you some logins when i'm at my desk in the morning.

Sounds good :)

my staging server - tho not 100% exact match in db and plugins - has the same issue.

that's weird. it wasn't showing that plugin as out of date in the plugin list on either site. i uploaded the latest version and still can't seem to get my lifetime license to stick which is odd.... but now i can see the typography checkbox. i get an error when i try to re-add my license on both staging and live.....

403 Forbidden. Your server is not able to communicate with generatepress.com in order to activate your license key.

can you help me get them talking again?

also wondering what else isn't communicating and updating.... i had a non-lifetime license, but i thought i'd replaced them all when it expired.
