Modify date post

Now the post show 2 dates: Creation and Modification date:

Yep, Google knows which is the published date and which is the modified/updated date.

It has been a few days and Google changes the title and meta-description if I change it, but doesn't change the date of modification of the post. It's very weird. I think as the creation date is shown first, it takes the first date.

Is there a way that when the date of a post is modified, only the modification date appears and the creation date disappears?

Would you want to completely remove the creation date, or just hide it?
