[Support request] Mobile view option missing when editing page

One reason that I like the Customizer is because I see the options to choose different views at the bottom, full-screen, mobile, etc. However, when I tried to edit a page, I do not see options for choosing a screen size. The toolbar at the top of the screen seems to be quite limited and does not include the option to view the post or page in different screen sizes.

Please let me know how I can do this. I have been searching Google but that’s a rabbit hole that seems to go nowhere.

Hi there,

in the WP block editor top bar there should be a Preview button. If you click that then it will show a sub menu where you can select a different device siszse.

Thank you. I did not see that before.

It would be great if edits I did in the mobile view did not affect the tablet view or the desktop view. However, I suspect that may require putting CSS for the individual views separately.

The core blocks don’t have any responsive controls.

If you need to create some custom designs then use the GenerateBlocks plugin:

All of its Blocks have responsive CSS styling controls.
