Mobile version of my site showing on desktop
1 reply · Started by Adam on June 19, 2022
Hello,
Recently while doing some editing on a blog post, I noticed that I was being shown the mobile version of my post, (long and narrow) even though I was browsing on my desktop.
I tried this in two different browsers and incognito, and it did it both times. It looks like the right sidebar is jumbled and very narrow and ads/pictures are out of alignment, etc.
This is the only post that I know of that this is happening to...what could be causing this?
I've entered the URL in the private info.
Hi Adam,
The issue stems from this <em> tag added to this specific post: https://share.getcloudapp.com/kpu8Nmxw
If I remove this, the sidebar goes back to normal: https://share.getcloudapp.com/BluGQN6m
Can you check the Post Format type of this Post?: https://share.getcloudapp.com/DOudovZ4
Is it set to standard? If it isn’t can you try setting it to standard?
If it isn’t or that doesn’t work, can you try to compare the Post settings of a post without the issue with this one and see if anythings different?
Otherwise, can you try #1 here?: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/debugging-tips/
It would be good to take a backup of your site before doing so.
Kindly let us know how it goes.
