Mobile Menu Styling Changes Post-Update

Hi there,
I just updated our site to the newest version of GeneratePress. The styling and slide-out functionality of the mobile menu on the site here: https://www.andreajonesconsulting.com/ has changed dramatically since the update. I also see an error that says "cannot read property 'querySelector' of null" in the Console, which links to the main.min.js file of GeneratePress. I added a white background to the current site menu so that the mobile links are readable--without a background it was showing up with no background colour. I've sent you a link to a site with what the menu used to look like. The menu setup in the Customizer looks correct on the live environment, so I'm not sure what's going on. Let me know if you need any other information from me to troubleshoot.

The site you linked in private info field is using off canvas panel while the other site isn't.

Thanks for your help. That's working better now. Is there some reason why this would've changed with the update? I didn't make this change to the site.
It looks like Categories are being added to off-canvas widget area (twice). I don't have this change pushed to the live site because it looks broken. There's nothing in the off-canvas widget area so I'm not sure what's going on. https://gyazo.com/669611dc0b88bd63449d7ee8968c18d1 Clicking on the blue "edit" markers doesn't have any effect.

I don't see the categories in the off canvas menu, did you managed remove them?
Sorry it's hard for me to predict the cause of the issue if I don't see the issue itself (codes).

I haven't saved my changes. I'm not going to add them to the live site because it looks broken.
When I go to remove the categories from the Off-Canvas panel widget, it looks like they'll still be there when I publish my changes. (And there will be two category widgets stacked there for some reason, like in the screenshot link that I shared with you in my previous message).
Do you need login information for the site? It looks like a potential bug. I'm not sure what's going on.

We haven't received any reports on this.
What version did you update from and what version are you using now?
The latest update doesn't include any changes in the off canvas panel so it's unlikely a bug.
We will need to go through some debugging steps like disabling all plugins and activate the parent theme.
If you can't do this in a live site environment, then can you please start a staging site?

Ok! I don't know what version I updated from. The version I'm using currently is Version 3.0.3. I've started a staging site! (see the Private Information section). I've also updated the mobile menu to the off-canvas menu and tried to remove the Categories section from the off-canvas menu widgets on the staging site. You can play around with this when you log in to the staging site with the credentials provided.

I logged in and your site does have a category widget in the off canvas panel.

Oh I see. Shouldn't those widgets be accessible from the Customizer as well? When I was checking out the customizer only two of the three widgets could be removed from there, and the second "category" widget wasn't removable.
Also, do you know why these settings would have changed since the menu wasn't always like this? It wasn't something I did on my end.

When I logged in, the widget also shows in customizer > widgets > off canvas panel.
I'm not sure why it happened, haven't received similar reports yet. Let us know if it happens again.
