I need help! All of a sudden, the mobile menu stopped working! That is, in the extended version it works, but when it shrinks it no works. Why?

Thanks,
Daniele

If you want to try, this is my site is ---

Hi there,

main cause of this issue is a bad cached/optimized file.

Begin by disabling any Cache/Optimization plugins.
Then clear your browser cache ( or use a private/incognito browser ) and recheck the site.

If that fixes it try reenabling the cache plugin.
If the issue returns then look for any settings that are combining/minifying Javascript and disable that.

I disabled the cache plugin and it still seems to be the same.

I have a screenshot if I can share that shows it is set to display: none;

Here's the code

<nav id="generate-slideout-menu" class="main-navigation sildeout-navigation offside offisde--left is-open" itemtype="https://schema.org/SiteNavigationElement" itemscope style="display: none;">...</nav>

...

Thank you David! I deactivated the autoptimize plugin and it came back ok. Strange though, I have been using this plugin for a long time together with W3 Total Cache and it has always worked well. Ok, anyway, it's not serious :)

Daniele - it may just have that the Cache needed clearing - sometimes scripts get scrambled :)

Chris - if you want to raise a new topic where you can share a link to your site - we can take a look

Yes David, I had tried to clear the cache before, but this was not enough, it is the autoptimize plugin that seems to be annoying. Anyway that's okay, I'm happy :) I hope Chris solves too, I also recommend him to disable the code optimization plugins, and to remember to clear the browser cache before doing new tests! Hi all guys and thanks!

Daniele

You're welcome

Hi I am having this same issue. If we can't use Autoptimize what cacheing plugin is recommended? Thanks

I have an issue with this as well. I did disabled the autoptimize plugin and still have no luck. http://www.cryptogurus.io - Did anyone find the root cause?

Can you open a new topic for your question?

Thanks.
