I have a single page website wherein when I click menu items on the desktop computer, they are loading proper sections but on mobile phones, they aren't. Please help. I am using GPP and Elementor

Hi there,

Is there a specific menu item I should be testing?

I tried a couple and they seem fine to me.

Let me know :)

Hi Leo,
Please click 'Services' and 'Gallery' from the menu. On the desktop, they work fine (they scroll down to the section title) but on the cell phone, they don't.

How are you implementing the smooth scroll?

Leo,
please click the links on the desktop and on mobile you can see the difference.

When I click on the menu items on the mobile device, they are not pointing to the sections which are CSS ID tagged, rather loading 50-100 px below them.

I did try it and noticed the problem.

However I think it's causing by the smooth scroll or perhaps the top padding of that section from Elementor.

Doesn't look like you are using GP's built in smooth scroll.

Are you using Elementor for that?

I deleted the top padding and tested it but to no avail.

Smooth scroll check box is selected in Customize > General

Yes, I am using Elementor for that

I believe this is caused by the fact that our mobile menu closes when you choose an option. That throws off the calculation of where to scroll to.

Our next version handles this within our smooth scroll script, but I'm not sure if Elementor has done anything about it yet. There was a GitHub issue about it, but their GitHub is down right now so I can't find it.

Thank you, Tom.
Until your next release, is there any workaround to fix this issue?

Our release won't fix the issue if you're not using our smooth scroll script. It will have to be fixed on the Elementor end of things if that's the script you're using.

Thanks, Tom.
I will use GPP's smooth scroll script
