When the mobile menu (smartphone or tablet) is active and I click on a link the menu “jumps” when the new page opens. Is it possible to get rid of that?

    Hi there,

Not sure what you mean. Can you link us to your site? Thanks!

Sorry for not giving you complete information from the beginning. It’s not just the menu that jumps, when you click on a link and the new page is loaded it moves a little bit sideways. I think this problem is related to the length of the page and when the scroll handles are activated. I first saw it when I tested the site on a mobile device where the scrolling handles wasn’t visible and thought it had to do with the mobile menu.
Do you think it’s possible to get rid of that shaking or movement?
Will you take a look for yourself?

    Hi there,

I think you are correct that the scroll bar width is causing the little jump – You can see it on this site as well and I don’t think that’s avoidable.

By the way I see some custom CSS in there that might not be needed:

Take a look at this article instead of using your CSS for “Fixed Site Header”:

To have the mobile menu toggle on the right of logo, you can use the mobile header feature instead of of the CSS and your logo should work well as mobile icon:

My client is satisfied with the site and the header as it looks now. Can I achieve the same result with your solution instead of “my” css code?

I can’t remember exactly what you site looks like (can’t no longer log in) but I believe so.

Maybe worth a shot? Your call.
