Mobile menu is open on page load.

I have quadmenu by quadlayers installed.
Nothing has been changed menu-wise or Generatepress settings-wise for probably 6 months.
The mobile menu was working normally (collapsed until hamburger clicked), now it is open on page load and cannot be closed.
I just can't see what is causing this, other than updates nothing has changed and I can't tie this down as to when because i have not been checking the mobile version after updates (lesson learned right there!)
Any ideas from you guys? I have some knowledge but i am no "expert"
