I would like the mobile menu to also open while hovering on the parent element. Would that be possible?

You can set the parent menu items to show submenu on hover by setting this - https://share.getcloudapp.com/lluk1op4
The setting can be found on Appearance > Customize > Layout > Primary Navigation.
