Mobile Header and jquery

I'm using autoptimize to optimize js / css but I have an issue when I enable 'mobile header' in menu plus addon, clicking on 'menu' doesn't list menu items, it freezes.
I've noticed that if I exclude jquery.js from autoptimize, it works again but makes the page render blocking. I have tested it with better wordpress minify as well but without any success. I'm just moving jquery to the footer and not optimizing it.
Is there any way to fix it?
The next version of GP Premium/Menu Plus works much better when it comes to stuff like this (moving scripts around etc..).
For now, I would just continue to exclude jquery.js (not doing so might cause other plugin problems as well down the road).
When GP Premium 1.2.90 is released, you should be able to include it again.
Hi Tom
I just came across this exact same problem in 1.3.4.4. Is there a workaround for this?
Are you using the latest version of GP Premium?
Hi Tom, I think so 1.2.94
Have you tried excluding jquery.js from the Autoptimize settings?
Hi
Yes this works. It does however cause the pagespeed error reported previously. Only happens when the mobile menu is selected.
I'll take a look at that today :)
Try setting these two options: https://www.screencast.com/t/hPClOIHVt
That should fix it :)
Hi Tom
Many thanks for this. I can confirm that this works perfectly> thanks for the great support again!
Glad I could help :)
