Mobile address bar color

Hi all,
I'm struggling with this for a long time now. I want to give visitors (of the mobile website) some kind of "mobile app" experience. I want to arrange this with customizing the color of the mobile browser address bar. For example, there is a dutch website (geenstijl.nl) who has this feature on their mobile website.
I already tried some plugins which were "specially" made to do this, but all of them failed. After that I googled a lot, and found some valuable information. I tried it, but no changes were made.
So my question is, is it possible with GPP to change this in a easy way? And if yes, what is the best and easiest solution?

Yes ofcourse,
On the mobile website of the example website (geenstijl.nl) on Chrome browers (I have a Android device, but I know it works on Iphones as wel) the address bar turns pinks. I uploaded a Example image. I think that will explain it all.

If it gets requested a lot we will definitely consider it!
Ah yes, I did not even know it was possible until I saw it on the example website.
