Mixed Content Issue
2 replies · Started by Brian on May 24, 2020
I just moved my domain and added SSL, but one of my pages is still showing "unsecure". It is because of a mixed content error as follows:
An image with an insecure url of "http://9f82a16f452781507.temporary.link/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/iPhone4.png" was loaded on line: 1 of https://rgystudio.com/rgy-studio-portfolio/.
Errors that are reported on line 1 are generally not part of the source code. This error may be caused by an external javascript file which is writing to the page, however we are unable to reliably detect these scripts in our automated test.
Please contact us using the "Need Help?" link below if you need assistance with resolving this error.
The issue is that this image is not on my server, and obviously not used. It was just a part of a demo page from Elementor. I have no idea how to get rid of this link though. Can you help me clear this up?
As shown above, the only page with this issue is: https://rgystudio.com/rgy-studio-portfolio/
Thank you!
Solved my own problem ;)
When I moved over to the new domain, some pictures didn't transfer over. The iPhone photo had a space available, so even though the photo was deleted, it was looking for it for some reason (even though it had no intention of displaying it). I found its grey box in the page builder sitting in a column. After I removed it, the padlock was back.
Just in case other people have this issue as well, just check everything on the page, even blank sections.
