Missing menu

Hi - I have removed the header image from this page by excluding the page in Elements / Header / Display and lost the menu! Please could you tell me how to exclude the image but keep the menu options there.
Hi Ruth,
The navigation is there, but it's white, which is the same as the background.
Go to customizer > colors > primary navigation, and change the color.
If that changes the navigation color for pages that have header element activated, go to the header element, and set white as the navigation color in the header element's settings.
Thank you Yin - I understand what is going on now.
What I want to do with that page is remove the default image that is set in the Header element and put a different one there. Like it is on the home page.
I have added another image but I cannot make go right to the top of the page (then the menu items will appear).

It looks like you've figured it out. I see the image is merged with the menu. Let me know if you still need help with :)
Hi Yin - yes thank you I have more or less figured it out. I have added this page to the same header element as the home page.
The main image is not displaying on mobiles in the same way as the home page main image does.
On a mobile, the Events page image is very small
What I am aiming to do is have the same format header on the Events page that is on all the other other pages eg the "Who we Are" page but have a different image on the "Events" page. Is there a simpler way of doing that?
Hi there,
the Header Element you have set to Display on your About Us page.
If you were to edit that, and go to the Page Hero tab:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/header-element-overview/#page-hero
Set the Background Image to Featured Image
Set the Fallback Image ( this option will appear after you set the above background image ) to the image you're currently using on the About US page.
Then set the Display Rules to ALL Pages.
Now on your Events page, edit that and set the Feature Image and this will be displayed in the hero.
You can do this for any page you want now.
Hi David - I have done that and am getting the different image on the Events page but also get a duplicate of the image below it?
Hi Ruth,
The duplicated featured image is the default page featured image, you can disable it by creating a layout element, under the Disable elements tab, ticking the featured image option, and choosing the same locations as the header element.

Thank you Yin - that page is now how I want it. Just one small thing - I have disabled Content Title but still see the word "Event" in the header?
Hi Ruth,
It seems added through your Header Element. Try removing the content of the Header Element and see how it goes. Reference: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/header-element-overview/#content-1
Hi Fernando - that makes sense but when I did it, the whole page setup got messed up! Have reinstated it.
I see. If it messes up the spacing, you can increase the top and bottom padding values of this Header Element through its settings.

If it's messing up something else, let us know.
It seems to be messing up the whole display !
Can you give us a detailed description of what has been messed up and point us to where we should be looking at?
