Tara Alemany
I have updated a website (https://susannaliller.com/) using an element for the header. I am using Generate Blocks as well, and have a container with a negative top margin, so that it overlaps the header image. I have a primary menu set to appear above the header, but it’s not showing up on the homepage.
I can add a navigation menu to the Top Bar widget, however, it doesn’t use any of the settings I’ve defined in the theme.
On the interior pages, both the Top Bar and the primary navigation bar appear. And I’m intermittently getting a Json Error when I update pages or other settings. (For instance, I was going to turn on Jetpack’s Visibility setting, so I could hide the Top Bar menu on interior pages.)
Any idea how to fix all of this?

StaffCustomer SupportHi Tara,
Let’s tackle one issue at a time.
I have a primary menu set to appear above the header, but it’s not showing up on the homepage.
Looks like the entire header is removed on the home page.
Did you remove it with either the disable elements metabox or a layout element?

No. I have disabled the Header, Featured Image/Page Header, and Content Title on the page. But the Primary Navigation is not turned off.
The only layout element that affects this page is the “Rebranded Header” element, which is what specifies the header image. And for that, the Site Header section specifies that the Navigation Location is “Float Right.”

That’s actually a header element and not a layout element.
Can you check the disable element tab in Landing Page Layout element?

It was disabled there, so I unchecked it. The problem still persists.

StaffCustomer SupportI’d assume there is some sort of caching issue or conflicts somewhere so let’s take some debugging steps.
Can you:
– Disable all plugins except GP Premium
– Activate the parent theme.
