Missing hooks element

Must be one of those days when I'm missing the big picture - again.
I'm using Generatepress on another new site and I don't see the Hooks element to select and activate.
It appears on my other site between elements and menu plus.

Activate the Elements module instead.
The Hooks module is the old one and has been deprecated.

I'm hoping you can shed some light on the problem I'm having.
On my old site I have the "GP_hooks" and have a <script> in the wp_head section.
It has always worked great.
On the new site I have "Elements" and when I install the <script> in the wp_head, I get a 500 server error.
I hope I explained that clear.
