Missing Homepage Settings

Just installed Premium on another site and can't find the "Homepage settings" in the customize menu, did that move or go away?
Hi there,
The home page setting is actually a WordPress setting as seen here:
https://wordpress.org/support/article/settings-reading-screen/
Does that help?
Not in the latest rev. In the Readings settings there is NO option to setup a homepage. Thought maybe that had changed and now themes for managing that..but dunno..
Nope - nothing has changed there.
Here is a screenshot of a fresh install with the latest version of WordPress:

Do you see the setting if you activate a twenty series WP theme?
Installed two themes and still nothing in the Reading settings to setup a static page
That basically says it's not a theme issue - I'm guessing something specific to your install.
I would recommend trying disabling all plugins to test first and make sure you have the admin capability.
If that doesn't help, try reporting the issue to WordPress support team and see if they've heard similar issues before.
Cool, thanks!
No problem :)
Just a followup I removed the install and ran a new one with the same list of plugins etc and now I have a static page setting..no solid answer but fortunately it wasn't a live site. Thanks again, helped a lot.
No problem :)
