Missing Fields in GeneratePress 2.1

when creating a page or a post the choice to "choose template" and "excerpt" are missing. I have checked under "Screen Options" in the event I missed something. Can you please advise?
Hi there,
The Excerpt metabox is only available for posts, not pages.
The Template area will only show up there are custom templates available.
Both are core WP features, so the theme doesn't have any say whether they appear or not.
