    Hi,
I’d like to give up using Elementor in my 1st web with GeneratePress Premium

Do I have to design all the pages from scratch, as maybe it was suggested here in the forum form a previous topic I found out?

Which are the benefits of using GenerateBlock, maybe the free version, instead of using simply the native WordPress editor , that is Gutenberg?

Thank you very much for your support!

    Hi there,

Unfortunately yes. You cannot convert Elementors code to the code required by the Block Editor. So if you disable Elementor you will be left with just the unstyled content in the WordPress editor.

Which are the benefits of using GenerateBlock, maybe the free version, instead of using simply the native WordPress editor , that is Gutenberg?

GenerateBlocks simply adds 4 ( soon to be 6 ) blocks to the editor.

    Container
    Grid
Headline ( advanced text block )
    Buttons

    Coming soon:
    Query Loop
    Image

And what they offer is deep styling controls from spacing to typography to colors to backgrounds. So if you want page builder style editing controls in the Block Editor then GB is something you may want to consider.
