Meta template is showing in wrong place
3 replies · Started by Steve on February 2, 2022
Hi, I've created a meta template, which is showing how I want it, but it is showing underneath the featured image instead of under the post title, which is in the hero header.
Here's what it looks like: https://prnt.sc/26nn5sb
My hero is made using the header element with a
{{post_title}}
to display the post title.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Hi Steve,
Can you link us to the sample page you're working on?
You can provide the link/site details through the private information text field -

Can you also share how you've made the meta template? To have more context to know what may be the conflict/issue.
Let us know.
Sure, I've included the link below. If you scroll down on that page, you'll see the meta info under the featured image. I want it to be unter the H1 Title text inside the hero section.
With the meta data, I followed the instructions hhere: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-post-meta-template/
Thanks,
Steve
Instead of using a header element to display the title, try upgrading it to a block element page hero instead:

The template should work for you:
