I had several meta boxes under the WordPress content area in the Admin area.
For example, Yoast SEO or your Simple CSS were there. After the update, all these meta boxes were moved in the right sidebar, where I had those ‘featured image’, ‘permalink’ etc. The biggest problem is that I had pages created with the Series addon of Paid Memberships Pro. Those pages had a meta box that allowed me to do important changes there. That meta box disappeared completely.

    Hi Raul,

When you say after the update, do you mean the GP theme or the GP premium plugin?

I can’t replicate the same issue on my end, as after update my Yoast SEO is still at the bottom of page editor.

You can try this setting in page editor first see if it works.

And you should be able to move the modules around between the bottom and rightside by clicking the arrows of each module, here’s a short clip for your referance:

    Let me know 🙂

    Hi Ying,

    Thank you.
There were both updated at the same time today (theme + GP premium).
There was nothing wrong with the panels but I cannot see there the meta box of that plugin I mentioned above (an addon of PMPro). I don’t have it anywhere anymore. I have not updated anything else than the GPs.

I also cannot move the modules back to the bottom, as I see in your last video, because when the module is on top of the sidebar, the up-arrow is disabled.

Just wondering if this issue happens when you switch to twenty twenty- one theme, can you test?

    Let me know 🙂

Have you tried to change the preference of page editor? Can’t find the plugin option?

I don’t think the theme interferes with other plugin’s panel in page editor, so it’s likely not a theme issue.

And what’s the version of WP you are using?

If you can create a staging site, it would definitely be helpful for the debugging process.
