Merging header and navigation for correct display in Internet Explorer?

Hello,

The page I am building for a client does not show correct on Internet Explorer, all the other browsers are fine. Unfortunately Internet Explorer is still used a lot by my client's customers, so I need to figure out how to display it correctly. I am using Elementor as a page builder.

The problem is that the content is placed on top with no spacing, so the content goes through the menu and logo. In other browsers it looks perfect and the spacing is automatically there (I followed the guide merging header and navigation for page builders).

Any thoughts on how I can fix this? Thanks!

Kind regards,

Ben

Hi Ben,

Are you able to provide a link to your site?

What version of Internet Explorer did you test it on?

It might be that Elementor does not support an older version of IE.

Let us know.

Hi Leo,

The link to the site is http://mmz.theodordesign.com/.
The version of IE I tested on is 11. Hopefully you have an idea of how to fix this. Thanks!

The orange text and log in area (blue block) should not be behind the logo and menu.

In Chrome and Firefox they are below the logo and menu. Can you see the problem now?

ahh sorry. Just missed everything...

I think your best bet is to contact Elementor for this problem.
They should have a better idea of this compatibility issue causing by their plugin :)

Unfortunately you don't have a solution. I'll try Elementor. Thanks.

Solved it, somehow after changing some settings it works fine now!

I would assume it was Elementor setting? Glad it's working!
