Merging first container with navigation

Hi there,
I try to merge the first container of the homepage with the navigation, but somehow do not get it working. For this I have cleared all colors in the customizer and created a header element for merging.
I replaced the header with a block element before. Maybe it is the problem? Or what do I have wrong?
Thanks, Erika
Hi there,
can i get a login to get passed the Maintenance Mode ?
Sorry, I turn it off.
Yeah the Header Element relies on their being the Site Header otherwise the hooks it needs don't exist.
If you change your Block Element to a Hook and set it to before_header then the merge header element should work.
Hi David,
it works only if I set the display rule to entire site. If I only set the start page in display rule, it does not work. I don´t know why.
I made you a login if you want to test in backend.

Hi Erika,
I see. Can you set the Display rule location to Front Page? We'll check what's occurring.
Hi Fernando, here we go.
When you say Start page, are you referring to the Front Page?
If yes, can you try this setting instead?: https://share.getcloudapp.com/RBuBENO7
Crazy, with Frontpage it works. If I choose pages --> Startseite (the page that is assigned as the "index.html"), it does not work. So the question is why I can´t use this tool/merging option on a specific page only.
The page you set as your Homepage in you Settings > Reading has a special place in WordPress. It becomes the Frontpage so for that page you must use the Front page location in GP Elements
Hi David, interesting, I did not think with targeting it differently like I would do it with another page. Anyhow, solved. Thank you, Erika
Glad to hear that!
