Merged Header

I am having a hard time getting the page header and the navigation merged. I think I have all of the options correct and have another site running the same settings but I can't seem to get this one to work.
Here I have the page header created and a smart slider pro 3 slider in the content area.

Here I have the merge options activated.

Here I have the Elementor Navigation set to be in the header area just like on the other site that is working.

I'm just not sure why these are not merging.

I just went and checked all of my settings and they seem to be the same. Here's a link to the site this is working on.

I'm not seeing the Page Header activated on that new site at all - is there a specific page I should be looking at?
The home page is the blog, so you would need to apply your Page Header to it in "Page Headers > Global Locations".
So I have it applied everywhere I can and it's not merging.
I have it applied in the global locations, on the page itself and have set the homepage. I've also tried each of these settings individually.

I left the URL for the site I needed help on in the URL field of your support request form.

It's still not working.
Perhaps try adding your Elementor shortcode in the "After Header Content" hook.
You could also just use the GP logo/menu. You can achieve that same menu item effect with a couple lines of CSS.

Writing the few lines of code is easier for some than others.
