Hi there, I’m using the ‘Merge with Content’ in the Site Header option in my Header Element containing a login option. I expected the header to merge with the content element below, in this case give the header a red background, but it doesn’t, isn’t that what merge means?
Thanks!

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi there,
Is this for the home page? If so, it doesn’t seem like a header exists, so there’s nothing to merge.
The login link is inside the Page Hero. If you add that link to the header (the regular navigation), it should merge.

Yes, it’s for the home page, is this because I use navigation as header?

StaffCustomer SupportThe home page doesn’t actually have a header or a navigation.
Looks like both are disabled?

Yes, the header is disabled, and I use navigation as header.
Now, after enabling the header on the home page in the layout element, it still does not merge, it’s probably because I use navigation as header?
With header, should the header not merge?

I have to use the short code login link, not the login in menu, to use my modal login.
So I guess the best bet is to give my header element a background color to “merge” with the element below?
Thanks!

StaffCustomer SupportWould it work if you just make the page hero background color the same red as the content below?

Hi there, yes it might work, there is an issue if the content has a gradient background, and the page hero is not contained, but I guess this can be corrected with code, and the gradient then might match.
Thanks!
