    Hi,

I am trying to get the top navigation bar to be transparent and the words in the header (the menu items) to sit in front of my landing page image. The image behind it has been put there using a page builder rather than the featured image option.

Within the ‘page header’ option I have set ‘Merge with site header’ , ‘Place content behind header (sliders etc..)’ and ‘Transparent navigation’ to be on. When I do this the navigation bar is no longer visible?

Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong?

    Thanks

Can you link me to the page so I can take a look?

    Thanks!

    Hi Tom,

    Thanks for your response.

    Here’s a link to the site. http://demo.lemontreevilla.es/

There’s nothing there but an image. I’d like the header to merge with the picture but it just disappears.

    Hi there,

Looks like you have the site header disabled here: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/disable-elements-overview/

    Hi,

Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately I’ve tried both ways but the problem persists..
I actually want the header to be disabled and the primary navigation to show. However when I enable ‘merge with site header’ everything disappears.

Can you set it to merged now so I can see why the nav doesn’t show?

The Featured Image/Page Header option is disabled from within the Disable Elements meta box.

The navigation is inside the page header, so disabling it will disable the navigation as well.
