The theme doesn't add any descriptions - maybe a custom function or a plugin you're using?

WordPress itself handles the titles/canonical URLs, so again perhaps it's a custom function or a plugin?

I'm not seeing any H1 elements, so not sure how there can be duplicates. If you're missing an H1, you can add one using a Hook Element: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/hooks-element-overview/
