Hello,
I am facing Menu problems in my website. I have created the primary menu. For the 1st menu link I have created sub-menu and they are displaying horizontally not vertically. How can I change that and I am not able to change background hover colour for the menu items.

Just to be clear, all these sub-menu items are siblings and share the same parent
options?If so, your menu structure is built incorrectly.
